Tasks

  • Generating, analysing and reporting consumer research data to understand current / prospective customers as well as the video games market as a whole
  • Supporting the team in a variety of market research projects, ranging from online and offline surveys to qualitative discussion groups, partially conducted together with external partners
  • Conducting online surveys, including the management of all process steps from the creation of the questionnaire to survey programming and data analysis
  • Using a range of database tools and apply statistical, psychological or marketing-related knowledge to overcome analysis-related challenges
  • Generating insights on user profiles and player behaviour based on internal data sources
  • Preparing analysis to answer ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree-level education in Economics/Business, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics/Mathematics or Communication/Media Studies
  • Experience with data analysis and related software (e.g. SPSS, Stata, R, SQL, Tableau or similar)
  • Basic statistical knowledge is required, experience in survey design/study design is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Particular interest in researching and interpreting gaming-related topics and linking them to academic theories
  • Logical understanding and analytic mindset
  • Very good skills in written and spoken English. Knowledge of another European language is a plus
  • A very precise, well-structured, responsible approach to work
  • Interest in video games and the video games industry
